Sending Free Text Messages with Textie
Outbound text messages to U.S. phone numbers are sent from Textie servers at no cost to you. In order to keep message costs free to our users, Textie sends text messages through email gateways. Message formatting may therefore vary depending on the recipient's cell phone provider and cell phone. The receiving party may incur normal text messaging costs, depending on their provider and plan.
Textie can currently send free messages to the following U.S. mobile carriers:
- AT&T
- Verizon
- Nextel
- US Cellular
- Qwest
- Virgin Mobile
Sorry, but the following U.S. carriers are currently UNHAPPY with Textie. Don't expect them to work right now.
- T-Mobile
- Sprint
No international number or Google Voice support at this time.
